Moore Teachers are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Year 2 Teacher to join a friendly primary school in Cheshunt. This is a job share role, working Mondays and Tuesdays from January to July, with full class responsibility and payment to the teacher’s scale.

 

The Role:

As the Year 2 Teacher, you will:

  • Share full class responsibility across two days each week

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned to the Year 2 curriculum

  • Assess and track pupils’ progress, ensuring smooth continuity with the partner teacher

  • Create a positive, inclusive, and well-structured learning environment

  • Work closely with the job share partner and KS1 team to maintain consistent expectations and standards

This is a great opportunity for a teacher seeking a part-time role with full responsibility and a strong sense of ownership.

You will be an enthusiastic, committed teacher who:

  • Has experience teaching KS1, ideally Year 2

  • Is organised, proactive, and dedicated to high-quality teaching
