Salary: £82 – £90 per day pro rata

Moore Teachers are excited to recruit a full-time Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Cheshunt for the Spring and Summer terms. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience across Early Years and Key Stage 1 in a supportive environment.

 

The Role:

As a General Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting learning and development across EY and KS1.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting teachers in the classroom with daily activities and lessons

  • Working with small groups or individual pupils to enhance learning

  • Assisting with preparation of learning resources

  • Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development

  • Promoting a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

This is a varied role offering experience with multiple age groups and the chance to develop your skills across Early Years and KS1.

About you: 

We are looking for a passionate, reliable, and flexible Teaching Assistant who:

  • Has experience in Early Years or KS1 (preferred but not essential)

  • Can work independently and as part of a team

  • Is proactive in supporting pupils’ learning and wellbeing

  • Builds positive relationships with pupils and staff
