Moore Teachers are seeking a confident and experienced Year 5 Teacher for a welcoming primary school in St Albans. This full-time maternity cover begins in February and continues until July, offering full class responsibility and payment to scale.
The Role:
As the Year 5 Teacher, you will:

Take full responsibility for a Year 5 class, delivering high-quality lessons across the UKS2 curriculum

Plan, prepare and assess learning to ensure strong progress for all pupils
-
Create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
-
Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development
-
Work collaboratively with the UKS2 team, leadership staff and parents
-
Ensure consistency and continuity throughout the maternity cover period

About you:

Have solid experience teaching Upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
